Hear Him

The heart of young Joseph Smith was filled with great grief not knowing who to turn to for truth and for the salvation of his soul. Troubled in spirit, he predetermined a place where he could offer his heart to the Lord in prayer in the hopes He would be merciful and address his concerns. Little did he know, both the Father and His Son would answer him in person. Joseph’s question of redemption was best answered by the One who’s right it was to offer. Heavenly Father, who heard Joseph’s prayer, deferred to His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, who was the answer to his prayer, the answer to salvation. What joy replaced his heart, not only to have been heard and to have been forgiven but to behold the face of God, hear Him, and know that the restoration of His gospel in its purity would soon be underway.
